Fresno Bridge Academy

Clifford Francone was unemployed for over a year. He was eager to find work and provide for his family, which include his two sons, David Paul, age 5, and Ayden, age 4.

Einstein Park Gets

A Fresh Coat of Paint

Einstein Park Neighborhood Center, Reading And Beyond’s newest community-based site, was recently treated with some fresh paint as part of our continuing efforts to help the center become a more inviting, family-friendly environment. Volunteers helped coat the walls and doors with bright colors that were chosen by the kids, soon to be adorned with student's arts and crafts projects

“It was a lot of fun watching the neighborhood kids walk into the newly painted center,” says Site Coordinator Simon Biasell. “The paint brings a new energy.”

Operated in partnership with the City of Fresno, the center offers daily after school program activities including literacy tutoring, as well as homework help, arts and crafts, recreational and fitness activities.

Reading And Beyond wishes to thank Pilgrim Armenian Men’s Group for donating the paint, and LifeSpring Church and Community Center for contributing brushes and rollers.
