Reading And Beyond’s mission is to "empower children and families to reach productive, self-reliant lives."  Our Workforce Development programs continue this mission by helping parents become economically self-sufficient.  Our goal is to ensure that the parents we serve can build a better future for themselves and their families by overcoming the cycle of poverty.


To meet this challenge, Reading and Beyond has created a workforce development arm to assist parents in reaching their educational and employment goals.  Currently, we offer two programs dedicated to education and employment for parents in the neighborhoods we serve: Fresno Bridge Academy and Pathways to Success.
